4th of July weekend

Because of my recent temp job departure and Nate's ability to take time off (what seems like to me) easily, we enjoyed the 4th of July in Utah!

Sandy City put on a great (and not too crowded) show!

Cicely always puts on a good show.

Lest you be curious if the rest of Cicely's family is as cute as she is?  (they are.)

But Nate and I both like to pretend we can steal her.

The guy photo bombing our couples shot probably wouldn't let us.

While waiting for the fireworks to start with Ben and Jenn we ran into Jim's family!

The dress-wearing Lilly chose to sit on Aunt Liz's lap for the firework show.

Gray was ALL about the fireworks.  If I didn't enjoy fireworks before, his enthusiasm that night would've changed my mind.

The next morning Nate and I went with Ruth's family up to Silver Lake.  Nate had never been (what?) and it had been forever since I had been.  Beautiful day to visit!

Family of five (!)

The kids figuring out the plant life.

Taking a break with mom.

Posing for our engagement photo...:)

Just the gals (the boy in the picture had no choice but to join us).

K, please note the mouse outfit.  I couldn't stop noting it.

Back at home for lunch...but first a photo shoot...

Bella proving she is prettier than us all.  :)

Cicely trying to prove she is cute and silly...

These girls...we stopped by Jessica's for a rainy afternoon visit and they were so much fun.
And willing to let me take pictures of anything they did.  :)

Birthday girl!  (How is Violet already 1?!)

Checking out the cake...

Best photo (bomb) ever.

The star of the show!

Nate making friends with Muffin, Tom and Stacey's newest addition!

Working with Violet on growling...she and the dyno were pretty darn good.

On our way home, we stopped in Payson to pick up a router from a friend of a friend...this ended up being the right location, but we got a couple of views of this cat as we drove back and forth.  She didn't seem to care, but this time she got a little curious.  :)

Sunset on our way home.

Such a nice weekend.  We had great weather (that included at least two thunder storms) and were able to see lots of family!

Always so good to hang out with you guys when you come up. Glad we could "find" you at the fireworks :)
