A few things

Nathan is in Charleston, SC for his moot court competition this week/weekend. This will not be an ode to him, describing how much I miss him (but I do). I just talked with him about the happenings of the day, but this will allow me more detail. Someone else's phone was being used, so I couldn't say everything I needed to, I guess. So, to everyone; a few things:

-This morning I stood in my pajamas staring out our bedroom window in the direction of the possum sitting on the roof of our garage, enjoying the rain and an unknown snack. These things gross me out; I don't understand how they got in my yard, why they are okay with it, etc. And yet this was the first time I'd really seen one in the light of day. Almost cute, but the idea of said animal being wild is still too much for me. My staring then subsequent shuffling around for a semi-decent camera made me a few minutes late for work.

-I celebrated Nate's departure by not fixing my hair. Really. I got up a bit late cause my phone decided to shut off(?) so my options were limited. Sleeping in coupled with my photoshoot meant I went for mascara and skipped a flat/curling iron of any sort. I felt the need to apologize to people for how my hair looked, but so few people a-see me b-care that I probably said sorry to just one person. Nate doesn't even know. Ha.

-Carol (my car) decided was reluctant to start today. It's an electrical issue but my battery, among other things, was recently checked out so I'm stumped. Later in the day she worked fine but lunchtime was rough. So was my language. Sorry Carol.

-On my way to the gym tonight, I passed a car with some fun headlights. Well, one was a headlight, the other was a pie plate. How could I have taken a picture? Danger is my answer, so I'm settling for a verbal memory. A pie plate? Maybe I'll stick one near the battery of my car to see if that'll help with Carol's troubles.

-When I got home tonight, I noticed a fluorescent light on in our garage (the very garage our possum friend was spotted). I didn't actually notice until I'd gotten in the house, and realized how creeepy the light looked. I'm lazy and a chicken. I didn't ask Yvonne why the light was on and I also didn't go down to turn it off. What if the possum got inside??
