Yellowstoned: Day 4, Animals and waterfalls!

The intent was for all of the Higleys to stay together, but it proved to not always be realistic, but we did the best we could.

We started out by renting Gray as our baby.

Me (sorta) posing with a buffalo.

Nate, Lisa, and Jackie got the blue memo.

Sadi and I got the bright color memo.  :)

So did Yellowstone.

Aaron putting out the vibe.

This was scary to look down on, but really pretty. And there was a railing.

Lodge pole pines.  One of my favorite pictures.

Me and Nate on our tour of as many falls we could find.  :)

Mitten falls.

Deer fest!!

We came upon this patch of deer while they were running around and playing...it was so fun!

Me and my new friends.

 Yellowstone Falls (is way scary).

I mean, look at that!

Safer distance.

We stopped at a little lake for lunch...and bath.  ;)

We came across this guy...

Some of us didn't remember the video that was playing at Old Faithful...

...and this guy was mad about it.

Beautiful sunset on our way home.

Perfect way to end the day!

Yellowstoned: Day 2, Mesa Falls and Jackson Hole

Off to the falls!

I've been to Mesa Falls several times, but I always love coming here. Lots of good memories.

This is a new good memory.  :)

Jenn, wee William, and me.

The tiny (and fashionable) Ivie.

The even tinier and equally cute Cicely.
That'd be us.  (when I said the photo shoot was over yesterday...I lied)

Sleepy William.

The Aaron Higleys.

The Ben Higleys

The Mom and Dad Higley.  :)

While on our dust walk hike to the lower falls, we found some pretty cool stuff.  Ivie is pointing out this particular bit of cool.

It was a cool view that I'd never seen before...I just needed snacks.

Me and Jackie after the successful hike (and snack, I guess).

After the hike, Nate and I made the drive over to Jackson Hole... we were kind of concerned because we got a late start, but we had just enough time to get there, give Lyndsay a high five, and head to the Bar J Ranch for dinner.  Really though...I'd forgotten how little excitement Jackson holds for me, so seeing the Petersons (extended family and all) was an awesome side trip.

Don't we have a beautiful family?

We spotted this gal right on our way to Bar J.

And this guy right as we got there...bit early for Halloween, but I love the holiday, so whatever.

Before dinner.

During dinner.

My seatmate, Miss Sadi.

Nate proving what an awesome uncle he is...look how jealous fluorescent guy is in the background...

This guy even looks a bit jealous...

The Bar J Ranch was awesome!  I was afraid it was kind of an old person hangout (it kind of is), but the food and music (especially) was great!  It was a fun night and glad we did it.

We didn't have this view on the way home, but it's probably the kind of stuff we missed out on by driving home at midnight.
